Say No to Harmful Drugs

Drug abuse which is acclaimed a global problem is a social
menace posing a serious threat to the socio-economic well-being
of our society. The use of harmful drugs among the youths in in
Nigeria and especially Northern part cut across all social strata
which include both those from rich and poor backgrounds, male
and female, unmarried and even married women etc.
the book came at the very time that children whom we look up
as the future leaders are the most vulnerable group especially
under aged. They need to know and understand the dangers
inherent in taking harmful drugs of which the book seeks to
address.
Reading through the book, it is clear that the book offers a
holistic approach to drug abuse preventive measures and also
gives the children a real sense of directions right from the cradle.
The book is indeed a wakeup call and sundry against drug abuse.
In view of the foregoing, I humbly wish to recommend the book
for our educational institutions (Primary, Secondary and tertiary
institutions) and also to all parents as it provides moral
teachings as one of the surest ways in encouraging children to
stay away from harmful drugs.
